Or maybe they showed a gun when the sportsmen got angry. Not strange in Brazil where you have to watch out cause everyone can pull a gun also. Better be the fist before it escalates. They just where plain stupid.

Of course the athletes that did this were being stupid and the people who had stuff damaged should be paid for it.
That said, the idea that the security guard has to pay for this out of his pocket because he couldn't get them to pay for it and the idea having a gun pulled on you is not a strange idea are two more reasons many people think Brazil is a third world shithole.
