While we were on holiday we met a lot of rich Arabs. I had a conversation with a devout Muslim psychology professor, about why Muslim women should cover up. This was how it went.
He claimed it was decreed by Mohammed for all women, to stop enticing men from having sex with women.
When I pointed out this was created in the 6th Century and why it took god 500,000 years to tell anyone. He didn't have an answer.
He did have to admit it was only Muslim men who were so easily enticed as we Westerners had no problem with seeing women's hair or face and even girls in bikinis were safe from Western Men.
The problem is all religions brainwash people. They even believe their gods didn't bother correcting humans for 500,000 years. From worshiping things they could see.
