When it comes to pay, If it were me doing the reviews I would charge by the hour because it isn't just writing something, you need to check out the site, try it out, and take your time exploring it and coming to an opinion of it. I would be willing to charge by the word, but I would factor my research time into it.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I am leaning towards having new experts for every product. And instead of just having a review. I let them walk through it, as they are pros. Then I will show surfers scores from other sites, which are user rated scores. More authentic this way.
