nobody likes and respects stand up comedians more than i do... but they are comedians... Yes, some are smarter than others and some even have the ability to stimulate some thought from time to time but nobody is learning from Joe Rogan... he'd tell you himself that he is just a pothead and a comedian who occasionally says something thought provoking. Same with Bill Burr. I love these guys but they really aren't the voices of reason here. Burr admits this all the time, that often he is just trying to trigger an opposing reaction, whether he is behind something or not--which is great for laughs..not for personal philosophies.
