The Ukraine has a visa free regime for all countries. Every person can visit it just freely. Getting a Russian visa is a nightmare
as the foreigns say. It takes a lot of time and you will even have to make a HIV test (must be negative) to get it. That's very different to getting the US visa here. In Russia you need to personally visit the US embassy only once, pay about $160 and you'll get a 5-year visa to the States which allows you to be there up to 6 months continuously. When your visa is going to expire, you just have to apply for a new one online (no personal visits to the US embassy anymore). If you want to visit Russia, you have to prepare for a real assraping procedure, course if you are not Brazilian, Israel, Hong Kong citizen or a citizen of any other country which has a mutual visa-free regime with Russia (we have visa-free regimes with other countries only on a mutual base).
