The press praised him so highly (even though it didn't help him win the Presidency lol) that after that, campaign advisers urged their candidates to do it too.

Since then every candidate running for President starting in 1972 did it.
Except President Ford did not do it when he lost in 1976 to Carter.

Which again encouraged the establishment campaign advisers to make that part of "business as usual" in a campaign.

So income taxes didn't even exist until 1913.

NONE of the Presidents did it until 1972 (Nixon vs McGovern).
The next President after that did NOT do it in 1976.

That means that JFK didn't do it.
FDR didn't do it.
Lyndon Johnson didn't do it.

Or any other President going back to George Washington (because income tax was illegal and unconstitutional until 1913 when Congress amended the Constitution so they could steal more of our money).

But their hero JFK (who came from the filthy rich Kennedy family) never showed his income tax returns. And the Kennedy's were not only bootlgggers...but also have business holding all over the world.

He seemed to do pretty good without showing his taxes to his enemies in the press and opposition party.

As did ALL Presidents before 1972.
