You are right, I don't know how many watched it on line and neither do you.
Doesn't matter because Spicer claimed it was the most people "in person" and around the globe. He spent the 2 paragraphs prior to that trying to prove that the number of people actually at the inauguration were the record, including false ridership numbers. Ridership has absolutely nothing to do with online viewing of course.
He was clearly stating that there were more people there in D.C. watching "in person" then ever before and that was an obvious falsehood no matter how you try to spin it.
You are trying to turn apples into oranges and thats ok because I guess you are just using "alternative facts", ya know?
