Really? When did we declare war?
How many troops do we have in Iraq right now? The last report I could find was less than five thousand. It's surely less now. That's not a war. I have nearly as many troops stationed up the road from me at an Air Force Base.
We have nine thousand troops in Afghanistan. During 2016 the United States lost 14 lives in Afghanistan. In 2017 to date we've lost none.
Just to compare deaths.... In Afghanistan since 2001 we've lost 2300 men. In Vietnam in one year (1968) we lost 16,899 men.
We are not at war with anyone.
