The issue is that PPS is often used in different meanings.
PPS usually means/should mean Pay Per Sale, but it's often used as an abbreviation for Pay Per Signup too. Honestly i don't like to use it for Pay Per Signup, exactly because of the possible mix-up it can cause, i just use PPL (Pay Per Lead) for Pay Per Signup.
Camsoda's $80 PPS is not Pay Per Signup, but Pay Per Sale. Their PPL (Pay Per Signup) pays $1.50 or $2.50, if you promote their DOI via CrakRevenue.
