if you have a house insurance and your house burns down they pay you from the money from this people who have been lucky and don´t have a fire.
same as the roads you are driving on are paid also from people who do not even have a car (but they benefit from the road in another way) you benefit from healthy people around you or have to take care the bodies when they die in front of your garden (because that this are picked up, the society pays for)
that you did not have a working health insurance system for centuries proves that this system is wrong and US is one of the few countries in the world (except some 3rd world countries) where people are stupid enough to complain it.
you would have much more rights to complain spendings (what YOU HAVE TO PAY) what are really not nessecary and what are not in favour of the society. but health is not one of this things.
if you are right you should also not get into a hospital when you are sick because YOU WILL NEVER PAY IT IN YOUR LIFE !!!! if i see it same you, I would say you pay for healthcare but not for a building.
imagin if all this advantages of a society - paid from every individual - no matter if he use it or not are from now on an INVIIDUAL problem, I doubt that you would survive only a fucking day.

This is how society works.
We had a freeway that ran smack through our home town where I live. It was a full freeway and suddenly it turns into downtown USA and dumps everyone on "Main Street". It caused our town to be gridlocked during commute hours. We are a small town, 50k people, and it was seriously causing problems. So they created a "bypass" - which is twenty miles long and included seventeen bridges. It cost hundreds of millions of dollars - hundreds of millions of dollars for a freeway that most people will never use. This was paid for in part with federal tax dollars.
This is how modern society works - we pool our money into one huge pot and work towards the greater good. You might never use that freeway. However, my tax dollars paid for freeways in your area, and my tax dollars have paid for aircraft carriers I will never see in person. That's how it works.
