I wonder at what point somebody will finally explain to Trump how trade and economy work
He complains that Europeans should buy as much American cars as the Americans buy German cars.
Only issue with that: In Europe nobody gives a fuck about 12 mpg pieces of plastic that fall apart after 2 years. And nobody gives a fuck about F150 (greetings to Vendzilla here) and other trucks and cars that don't fit our streets and garages.
American cars between 1970 and 2000 were rolling junk and only after that they finally caught up in quality (besides a few exemptions like the Corvette that have always been good cars)
Build something the consumer wants and he will buy it. Trade restrictions will not solve that problem
