The problems with the supply of labour have only just started, there's far more grief down the road. Tackling it with minimum wages and workers rights are doing nothing, to making the whole thing worse.
The problem is with supply and demand. We are starting to see the problems with an oversupply of labour, wages plummet, zero hour contracts and a reduced number of available jobs. Right through the levels from the shop floor to middle management. Closing businesses like Walmarts mean management goes as well.
At the moment every government is committed to making it worse.
