To each their own. Back when my focus was SEO I setup hundreds of sites focusing them each on their own set of keywords that I was targeting. I achieved top positions quicker and pretty much always held them. Whereas trying to hit the top with a single site for a wide range of keywords isn't always easy unless you have a very strong and long term SEO plan.
It always helped that the keywords were in the domain as well.
As far as your domain question on whether to include "porn" or "tube" I think that really depends on your base target keywords, as you should have at least one of them in the domain.
