It was cooked up by Penthouse Forum around 1972 with a fake "Letter Of The Month" written by Craig Karpel. (I believe it was Karpel but I might be wrong.)
It was a story about a girl that made a shit load of money on porn sets as a fluffer but told her boyfriend that she was only a makeup artist.
Save for the Gay-For-Pay men that bring their girlfriends to a shoot... There are absolutely no such thing as a fluffer. I repeat.. It's a myth, urban legend and total bullshit.
