Very sad news. I've always admired him. I can't be sad for him, though. Because he lived a full life. He lived the life of a king many times over. I only hope his passing was peaceful and painless. Thank you, Hef!

My GF is a great person. Fit. Health and yoga nut. Beautiful. Smart. Funny. Enjoys just about everything I do.
But she has her quirks about her. One of them is, she doesn't like watching adult performers, much to my annoyance. You know what our fantasies are, right? Well, as much as I would love to enjoy adult entertainment with her, she's like hell no. She says the reason why is because she can't help but compare her body to other females, and somehow manages to feel as though she doesn't measure up. Female fucking logic, I've given up trying to understand it.
Anyways, not long ago, I decided to trick her. She likes country music. So I thought I'd show her Barbie Benton from the 70s singing one of her songs. Y'all know Barbie used to be a singer, right? Right? Lol, ok.
Now my GF is way too young to ever know who Barbie Benton is/was, much less know she was ever an adult model. So for all my GF knew, I was showing her some obscure one-hit-wonder country singer from the 70s.

Me, feigning surprise, I'm like: "What? Why would you say that about her? She's just singing her song and trying to sell it to people."
Her: "First, her body language. Second, her outfit. Third, what she's singing about. She's a slut."
Me, again feigning innocence. "Omg, how can you be so mean to her? She only had one hit song like 30 years ago. And she's probably either dirt-poor or dead by now."
Her: "I don't care. She's a slut."
LOL, hilariously stubborn she can be. I just let it go. I didn't bother telling her she'd just watched an adult model who lived the life of a pampered queen in the 70s. And, you know, it was justified. She deserved it. Because she was one of the most incomparably beautiful Playboy models there ever was. And probably one of the few women Hugh ever truly loved.
Barbie's heart is no doubt broken right now. I wish her the strength to get through this hard time. I know Hugh had kids. I feel for them right now, and wish them the best. Hugh's brother Keith died last year, which must have broken his heart. Hugh is with him now, along with the countless Playmates we've lost over the decades.
RIP Hugh. There will never be another like you.
