As a legal matter,
I'm having a hard time understanding the difference in forcing the allowance of a firearm sale to the mentally deranged but a legal citizen,
and prohibiting selling beer or cigarettes to a legal citizen 18 - 21 years old who is not mentally deranged.

One or both of these is wrong if we are to have equal treatment under the law and it is enforced under the same principles to all people.

The point is we do discriminate when it comes to health and safety but not equally. And the federal government has the ability to regulate interstate commerce.
So said the Supreme Court.
