is tumblr killing adult related blogs by the "sensitive" mode?

tumblr recently flaged one of my blogs as "sensitive".
it's a femdom and foot fetish blog .... nothing hard core.

what happens now is that if a random surfer tried to visit my blog - it can't be accessed , instead it says: "This Tumblr may contain sensitive media. Safe mode is on".

this is what this new "sensitive mode" is all about:
https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/20/tu...-of-safe-mode/

problem is that if the surfer doesn't have an account at thumblr (or not logged in) which most of them don't because they come from google , not thumblr in my case - he can't disable the safe mode, he can't get around it and so - can't visit my blog.
the surfer's options are: log in to thumblr, sign up to thumblr or leave.
of course if he doesn't have an account already at thumblr - he will leave.
i'm referring to the desktop version.
in the mobile version there seems to be a "see post" button which the desktop one doesn't have.

am I missing something here? does the surfer have another option to visit the blog without a thumblr account?
