Of course there will be an investigation; This is standard and will be conduced by the US military. It's not because we suspect any wrong doing, but instead to figure out what happened, what went wrong, and what our military can do better next time.
We cannot demand an investigation every time something goes wrong. There was no reason for multiple Congressional investigations into Benghazi - there was no indication of any wrong doing at all. If I understand correctly, whatever happened in Benghazi falls under the control of the State Department, with assistance from the FBI (mostly because the State Department isn't an investigative force).
So far there is no indication of any wrong doing with the four deaths in Niger. Unless we have reason to believe the US military did something wrong or is covering something up, or if we believe the Trump administration did anything wrong, then there is no reason to have a full blown Congressional investigation.
We cannot use our military, the FBI, or any government agencies (including the CIA, NSA, etc) as political weapons.
