They (sponsors) are either to l4m3 or lazy to set that up. You you do not need direct DB access for that -- there is already code to query the sponsor's database.
Affiliates use these services at their own risk.
Privacy of your sales -- tax man problems? Just don't use it then.

but i understand now a bit ^^ how all this work .
I was thinking that nifty stats was working kind of the same as the tracking code use for CPA where
one need to add the tracking code to their check out page or what ever page need to record the action.
I haved use Nifty a while ago and was thinking recently to get back with them because of the growing number of sponsors/ offers
we are adding to our network. Nifty provide with a few click a nice over view of all offers stats and income and if i remember there is also
a desktop notification when a sales just get recorded.
