I used Paxum for about 4 months and I had no end of problems.
Their last trick was to dick me around for nearly 3 weeks with generic "accounts department" replies before finally admitting that EFT withdrawal was no longer possible to my country.
Several of my EFT withdrawal attempts over those few months were quietly Rejected, Suspended or Returned. They do not always notify you proactively when there's a problem. If you're expecting something to happen, you have to periodically log in and check it's actually working. My first EFT withdrawal took over 3 weeks to arrive, and that was only after several pokes to find out what was going on.
Wire seems to be the only thing that worked without issue, but with ~$USD66 in send and receive fees it's a pretty expensive way to transfer money.
I think Paxum basically stays a couple of steps ahead in a world where regulations are constantly changing, and slowly tightening. They won't always be able to find a way around a problem, and even if they do, customers suffer in the meantime. Their entire business model relies on third party companies.
