There was no way in the world the DNC was going to let Sanders run as a Democrat. You can't be in politics for ten years as an independent and then suddenly declare you are a Democrat ONLY so you can make a run at the White House. Did the DNC "rig" it? They had their favorite and they helped her, end of story. That's rigging, that's helping.
The RNC wanted nothing to do with Trump. Trump wasn't a Republican. They actually were running opposition research to bury him. At a certain point in time there was just nothing they could do. The end result is someone they didn't want in the White House won and it's a massive embarrassment for them. Trump is the direct opposite of what the Republican party stands for. The man in charge of the Conservative party was just exposed as having two affairs behind his wife's back.
