Isn't it just a argument about what is considered a school shooting? No there hasn't been 18 mass shootings but what they consider a school shooting is anything that takes place on school property..
Reguardless... It's still a fact that not a single school shooter has used a bump stock. In fact the only mass shooting to even use one was the Vegas shooter but he had shit loads of guns.
The point being bump stocks are not really the issue at hand and they actually make it harder to aim the weapon..
Ban on high capacity mags would be much more sensible than banning a useless bump stock.. Ban any clip over 10 rounds for any gun and make it mandatory jail time if you are caught with them. No grandfather shit.
Wouldn't eliminate the problem but would neuter most AR guns with out banning the gun.
