Of course - however if any one of those people from the ruterman video want to visit auschwitz, they can be arrested. If any journalist says it and ends up having to go to poland, they can be arrested, and if some politician says it and then has to visit poland, he can be arrested. People that use the term are unwelcome in the country. There was something like 270 instances where ministry of foreign affairs had to intervene in 2017 not because of people saying this in private conversation, but because of this being written publically by newspapers, or said by politicians. If people don't want to get arrested, all they have to do is not use the term and say German death camps instead.
This is besides the point though. They know it's useless abroad, but I don't think that was the point. look how loud the topic has gotten? Everyone knows now that they weren't polish death camps...
