The fact is however Nunes never stepped down. He stayed involved and was the final say on who the commute could interview and he block several interviews of people who were involved.. the house investigation has always been a sham...

He stepped down, then he was cleared and got his position on the committee back.
Nunes is head of the House Intelligence committee. They have their own investigation running into MANY/ALL matters. Conway was running the actual "Trump/Russia collusion" investigation specifically.
