AGAIN, I was not and still am not a huge Hillary supporter. The two different areas they investigated were purely bullshit.
With Benghazi, there just wasn't any wrong doing by anyone at any level - and surely nothing illegal. It was a terrorist attack and no matter what we could not respond in time. Even if we could, would we really be willing to send out hundreds of US Marines into a foreign country and perhaps get us into yet another war? Either way, none of this was Hillary's decision. Did Hillary try to spin it in the media? Of course - that's her job. Her job is to ensure we do not get into another war where no matter what we did wouldn't have saved any of the embassy staff. What happened after the attack, the way Republicans handled it was horrible. They tried to blame the deaths on Hillary Clinton. This was disgusting. Hillary Clinton as Secretary Of State cannot send in United States Marines into a foreign country. Even if we did, the end result would have been the exact same only more Americans would have died. It makes me sick when I think about.
The email shit was just as bad. There is just no law that says the Secretary of State cannot host classified information on a private server. In fact, this was common - other (Republican) Secretaries of State have done this as well as members of Congress.
None of these two things were illegal, or even wrong, yet we had a dozen investigations into them. Yet not once did Hillary Clinton or the Democrats call into question the integrity of the FBI or the Justice Department.
Now suddenly we have one investigation and it's a witch hunt?
How is this a witch hunt? Jeff Sessions had three secret meetings with the Russian Ambassador. He didn't tell the State Department about them, didn't tell the CIA, didn't tell anyone about them at all. He claimed he met with the Russian Ambassador because of his work on the Committee on Armed Services, which is very very odd - NO ONE ELSE from the Committee on Armed Services met with the Russian Ambassador in the past eight years. Why did Jeff Sessions have to meet with him, and why didn't he disclose his meeting with the Committee on Armed Services. In fact, he's never told ANYONE what was discussed. Then he lied about it under oath. This is so bad that he had to recuse himself from the investigation. How the fuck is this a witch hunt?
Jeff Sessions is one piece of a very large puzzle. Then we have secret meetings in the Trump tower to discuss how the Russians want to help the Trump Campaign (nothing burger), Carter Page telling everyone in London how the Russians hacked the DNC before anyone else knew about it (he was just the coffee boy who flew to London to get coffee), tens of millions of dollars from Russia flowing into the NRA and the NRA donating more to the Trump Campaign than any other Presidential candidate ever, Secret meetings with the Trump kids at NRA dinners (I'm sure they just happened to sit him next to the Russian guy at dinner strictly by accident!), Micheal Flynn discussing sanctions directly with the Russians, and then secret meetings in the Indian Ocean.
How can we not have an investigation?
