The majority of Americans realize Trump is a crook and thinks he's bad for the country. They also realize the Republicans in Congress won't do shit about him, are enablers and half of them are as crooked as Trump. This won't play out well for the Republican party in the long run and once the pendulum swings back it will swing back hard. If the Republicans in Congress don't start impeachment before the midterms (which they won't) they will be completely fucked.
