Depends on how it is marketed/presented.
I know Ariel Rebel has managed to push mainstream products through her food blog (
https://zestyandspicy.com/) and her contributions to other food/cooking blogs. She has twitter, instagram and facebook accounts for zestyandspicy but she does use the Ariel Rebel name on all of them too and has promoted zestyandspicy from rebelmayhem.com.
She also did her signature skateboards for a while a few years back.
So a person can start on the porn side and promote mainstream products while maintaining the porn side. She proves that. She does seem to be the exception to the rule though.
So, could a cam girl do the same thing, yeah, they could but only a few would be actually successful at it imho.
