Of course we can go back in time and blame everything on past events. But it doesn't explain why Muslims kill Muslims today on industrial scales.

Yes, we sold opium in exchange for tea in China. The Chinese leaders would only sell tea for silver and were only allowed to opium with silver. This was enforced by their Emperor. As soon as we got the tea plants out of China and grown in India we were able to buy with normal currency. People should really research a subject before they post and rely on superficial knowledge.
