Maybe you love Quebec and are free to defend it, but outside of Montreal and a couple other larger cities, in the regions people are not very tolerant at all. To say that they are not bigoted and protective of language and culture is an outright lie.

I can understand what their motivation is, while I don't agree with it, Quebec is the least tolerant province. Anyone who has lived here even a small amount of time have heard and witnessed French on English or English on French attacks.
