in 2015 I had my left shoulder rebuilt from the ground up. 2.5 hour surgery, I was told this is considered major surgery. I was told at that time I had a 70% chance of the repair being effective. and could NEVER be repaired again, the MRI's confirmed that my shoulder has not done well. the repair did not hold.
ligaments ripped down to just a few strands holding the ligaments attached the shoulder, both right and left shoulders now. the left bicep ripped again and holding, but not that great of shape.... bone spurs and cyst in both shoulder joints.... so I'm going for my 3rd disability lol!!!
here's what's weird though.... the DR just can't believe I will not accept any opioids or pain killers. oh fuck yeah it hurts... no pain pills. I still got all the fucking pills from 2015 lol!!!

Hey dude - good for you for avoiding the opioids. Those drugs are a crisis up here just as they are in the US and if you can avoid taking them thats great.
I have a strange question for you. Can you tell me what it was like getting an MRI? I know you will think its strange, but I always wanted to have one. I hope I never need one, but I just want one. To me, MRI machines are so cutting-edge science they seem like science fiction.

The human body is mostly water. Water molecules (H2O) contain hydrogen nuclei (protons), which become aligned in a magnetic field. An MRI scanner applies a very strong magnetic field (about 0.2 to 3 teslas, or roughly a thousand times the strength of a typical fridge magnet), which aligns the proton "spins."
The scanner also produces a radio frequency current that creates a varying magnetic field. The protons absorb the energy from the magnetic field and flip their spins.". From
