That sounds pretty scary. I don't think the sound would scary me as I would just be consumed with how impressive the machine is and what it is doing. However I think being locked-in so I couldn't move my head would make me lose it.
Anyway, Sorry you are going through this and I hope you get better, and hopefully without the use of opioids.
