I have commercial greenhouses and use been for pollination...let me tell you this: you are SO fucked when you kill off the bees...you will be forced to spend billions on manual pollination and it is a BITCH...a B I T C H...the ecosystem is like a giant jenga tower...pull one crucial brick out and you are fuuuuuucked...
the problem with the USA is that it has one day of democracy and 364 days of lobbying in an election year and 365 days of lobbying in others...it is not really a democracy but a lobby-o-cracy..."heres some cash, fuck the bees"...
you will spend billions on hybradising imported bees to local environments and these bees will die off in droves and in time you will get a better ROI on manual work...then the damage will outweigh the lobby money and you will be forced to stop for like 10 years before the carence period for the chemicals you pumped expires and you can import bees again without throwing money out of the window...this is what happens when corruption is institutionalized and called "lobbying"...
