All cb affiliates should push traffic to a whitelabel. Pushing to the main brand is a strategic mistake: too many leaks and too many conflict of interests.
All cb affiliates should use the css code to hide the
fraudulent links (leaks).
Code:
a[rel="nofollow"] {
visibility:hidden;
}
img[rel="nofollow"] {
visibility:hidden;
}
If a model use a whitelabel, in theory it is fine but in reality, there is a
conflict of interest! There's nothing that prevents her/him from talking to a customer in DM, email, social media or even private session and tell him to go ahead and create a new username.
FACT: Chaturbate is encouraging the use of affiliate links by models. They retweet models affiliate links day in day out while non-models affiliates' tweets are ignored.
Allowing models to tell customers to sign in through their link under a new account is poor form (bad faith).
Proposed Solutions:
- Make members proper lifetime: bind them to a webmaster regardless of the username
- An alternative is to cancel lifetime and use rev-share based on a short lived cookie. Since it is not realistic to cancel, maybe it can be implemented from a certain point in time onwards
Does anyone know when the next european Adult Webmaster conference is? I'd like to meet the cb folks
