@Pam, I feel like my posts here some time give you a hard time and it's not intentional but damn...you're making me agree with Squealer :/
the way that the NA food industry is constructed is tortuous to animals. ever been on a highway in traffic next to a cattle truck jam packed with lives destined for slaughter? They cry, they literally sweat fear. you can smell it.
same with eggs, battery cages are extreme torture
it's easy to get up on my high horse (that I won't eat) here as I'm vegan but at times I have eaten meat. and tbh felt pretty bad about it, even when eating locally sourced/non-conglomerate meat
but what is the difference between a cow or chicken and a dog or cat? the pleasure they bring to us as companions? is that the altimeter for the value of a non-human life?
I dunno, I don't eat anything to do with animals but don't judge those who do. we are objectively supposed to be omnivores. I'm not trying to dictate anyone's food choices. we don't need to torture the animals we use for food though. truth is NA does too
soon, soon the flesh the grave cave ate will be at home on me
