I don't think they lack workforce, even if it may be a small company, it is a huge community, everyone checks everyone. It's just that there is a discrepancy between what we consider acceptable and what they consider acceptable.
We could set up an online spreadsheet (google drive kind) with a list of items to be looked at and their status. Something like:
id; item name; item description; priority; severity; status; comments/link to a blog or forum
It would give us visibility on what is going on and where we're heading instead of individually sending an email to support. This would also re-inforce trust by giving a sense that we are collaborators and partners: "we're all in the same boat".
