Not trying to discourage you, but over the years I have bought and sold a number of domains and my experience is the only names that really sell for much either have proven search results or they are very catchy, brandable, or some kind of readily searched term so they get some type in traffic.

So we employed a team yesterday to do exactly what you had recommended.
To try and build a brand around the name so as to increase its visibility and encourage traffic.
