And I want you to remember that when the deals announced and also be clear in your brain that China saying, "We will buy X amount more " does not equate to any deal.. because that was and is happening already, primarily due to that extra 850 million hitting middle class. Gravy train for everyone... as long as the Chinese consumer likes the product your selling.
Eg: Xi announces tariff on foreign cars is dropped! It means zippy fuck to the USA if Japan and Korea get it as well, simply because their closer and can ship to China for a 1/4 what it costs from the USA. Sure you get some sales but millions more will go to Japan.
Where as if its a USA/ China exclusive deal, then American car makers have a chance at competing.
A non exclusive USA/ China deal would be the biggest shot in the arm world globalization has ever received. Keep that in mind when your guy signs it ;)
