should be interesting with you mothefuckers crying about the law all the time. I'm thinking the NYT is liable for a big lawsuit

(3) Other persons
It shall be unlawful for any person to whom any return or return information (as defined in section 6103(b)) is disclosed in a manner unauthorized by this title thereafter willfully to print or publish in any manner not provided by law any such return or return information. Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution.

think they will put the editor of the times in jail or just some flunky?

I have no doubt that Trump will attempt to sue the NYT.. he tries to sue everyone, hell that was Cohen's entire job..

I'm pretty sure however the NYT has pretty fucking smart lawyers and knows what is actually legal and what is not..

The key point that you are missing here is NYT did not publicly post Trump's tax returns. They wrote a investigative article based on information with-in those tax returns. One is legal, one is not...

What I find odd though is why are you right wingers are always more worried about prosecuting the leaker not the people committing the crimes?
