At least the mother was lucid on TV and motivated cleaning her place etc. She did not it all seemed like a drug user or anything else she just seems overwhelmed which is the reason most people don't have so many children on limited income... it's difficult. |
Five kids and no partner would make anyone feel overwhelmed. She didn’t speak like Welfare trash and she sounded educated. The kids weren’t clean and her empty apartment looked like a refuge for homeless people. No beds or mattresses, no curtains, no furniture that looked like it was from the last two decades.
I felt bad for her and her kids but wondered about the father(s). Does she get any support money or does she have a man to help her?
She was white with bleached hair which costs money. Usually the media focuses on black women only. It was almost like “here is an educated white woman with five kids and cockroaches surrounded them” as if that’s an anomaly in the USA. Poverty isn’t ethnic.
