Homeless are not there to pick strawberries. Most habitual homeless people are either drug addicts or have a mental illness. Normal people who become homeless due to economics are usually only homeless for a average of 2 months.
Non drug addicts or non mentally ill who are homeless long term are almost always people who gave up on normal life. Its very rare to see a person who wants to better themselves be homeless long term.
By "wants to" I dont mean those who make excuses I mean those who actually try..
