I strongly agree about setting up email notifications. literally every website wants your email, and there's a reason--email marketing works. Paid traffic affiliate marketing has shifted from trying to convert an offer, to trying to collect an email to sell multiple offers to later down the road--getting a person's email is more valuable than sending them to an offer.
I strongly disagree that SE should never be your primary/only source of traffic. SE has been my only profitable traffic source for years. SEO traffic is the absolute best, most profitable traffic source out there. If you're good at SEO and do things relatively white-hat you don't have to worry much about google ruining your business. And there's the old saying--adapt or die. SEO is great in 2019 and it will still be in 2029.
