I genuinely cant imagine any situation, where Id be talking to anyone, and feel the need to use the word 'Queer'. Let alone be so keen to use it myself, I'd be waiting patiently for them to use it first... Just because someone has a different sexuality and/or preferences to myself, I can't see why on earth it should be the first thing that we are talking about?
But that's just me I suppose...
