When I was doing Trucking.. I 100% saw a drastic drop because of the tariffs. There was a big push before they took affect as suppliers were trying to get as much stuff as possible shipped before the tariffs took effect, so there was a big bump then it started dying very fast.

The company I was running under no longer even hires people in FL, GA, CA, OR or WA because the ports dried up so much they couldn't get loads out for the guys who lived in those states. Meaning if a driver went home in one of those states they couldn't get them loads out. You are talking one of the biggest Trucking outfit in the country completely stopped hiring new drivers from all those states because of the tariffs, but you don't see Republican saying anything about that...

The last few months I drove, not 1 time did I get a load back out of FL if I went home. Every time I left home, I had to dead head up to GA to get a load.. This was 100% tariff related.. In the last 6 months there has been several big & med size trucking companies who have gone under.. "congrats daddy Trump, doing great!"..

Tariffs are 100% the main reason I stopped driving. My truck lease was up in Jan so I turned it in and didn't get another.. Ebay it doesn't really affect me because I don't buy new stuff..
What about the millions who had good jobs making goods in America and now don't?
