As a foreigner, you will never win a lawsuit in front of a Thai court if
there is a dispute with your Thai partner.
An apartment purchase can also be made without a Thai partner,
as you only buy the apartment and the property is still in Thai hands.
Apart from that, there is hardly a reseller market for real estate in Thailand
it will be hard to sell the Apartment again.
Bangkok, Hua Hin and Phuket has the highest vacancy of real estate for decades.
The current visa problem for foreigners with a longer visa history, makes it persons under
the age of 50 hardly possible to stay in the country for a longer time.
Not sure if 3,5 million baht qualifies you for a business or investment long term, visa.
But Krabi is still one of the most beautiful corners of the country.
