Yeah, the whale (or whales) theory is plausible. It was an incredible drop though. Revenue was basically stable from 2014 to 2018 (plus or minus 25%) and then cratered. Probably a combination of a smaller pool of talent within my niche and the loss of a few whales, which does go hand-in-hand.
So am I pretty much alone here? No one else has noticed much of a difference Y/Y?

I have a white label that I send small amounts of traffic to and have for probably 7 years now. My monthly revenue is almost always the same.
I would guess the talent pool for your niche and loss of whales is your issue.
