I believe their share doesn't change weather a user is bound to an affiliate or not. It is CB %age that varies.
I also think this feature doesn't block affiliate traffic (you can still use CB links), it only hides them from whitelabels and blacklabels.
I don't think geo block is different : CB vs WL, after all whitelabels are subdomains of CB: xxxx.chaturbate.com
So
I still don't see the real benefit for broadcasters to block whitelabels. There's even a warning beside the switch: "you will get less traffic".
Note: Geo block is a feature request CB should implement in their API: webmasters should be able to pass an IP address to retrieve a relevant JSON feed.
