Same here.... plans never go the way we hope they will, well, not always.
There is a company in Fargo, ND interested in me and we have been in communications, but I really do not want to live in Fargo. I may have to give that a little more thought, even if on a temporary basis.
I am not in desperation yet and trying to hold out for something better in the western states. 8 years in LA, 15 years in Phoenix, a few years in Vegas and a short time in Seattle, I have fallen in love with the western states. As I get closer to retirement age, that is my goal.
But with all that is going on, thinking a bird in the hand is worth it.
