In my opinion the client is always RIGHT even when he/she is not.
I have had the pleasure to meet wonderful business people on this board. People that I do business with knowing that we give occasionally content for free, including discounts. And I am grateful to do business with them since they always pay on time and respect inital agreements.

They needed 16k + videos processed meaning: writing titles, tags, actresses, studios, categories and cover selecting for each video. The reason we accepted working for only 0.25 usd/vids is because he said that there will be a lot of videos that we will have to skip (mark as poor). This was price under any reasonable rate not to mention that there were times when the script didn't load properly so processing videos was taking much longer than expected.
Anyone working with these types of videos knows how time-intensive they can be and how much attention they need. So our price was beyond fair.
We agreed to accept payments after the completion of every 2k vids because I like to build strong relationships with my clients based on mutual trust. He never aids on time. All payments except the first one were late anywhere from 10-20 days. Once I had to send an email saying that if he does not pay I will post it on GFY and he eventually paid.
This last time - after we processed 16k + videos doing all mentioned work above, writing titles, tags, actresses, studios, categories and cover selecting for each video, we did a batch of 6k+ videos that were mixed, some required only cover selecting. 4k out of the last batch of 6k+ videos were paid without comment or complaint. So when I requested payment for the last batch of 2k videos, I had to send a reminder 10 days later since he rarely responds and never pays on time. He came back to me saying we should recalculate the payment for the last 4223 videos (including the current 2000) without reason.
The rate of 0.25 usd/vid was agreed on from the beginning, and the last batch we worked on WAS THE ONLY reason we accepted to do business for this shitty rate at the beginning being that here would be ones that only require covers.
Who does business where they think they can change the part of the deal AFTER job is complete. You can't just choose the rate you want to pay and then apply it retroactively. He never mentioned anything like this while the job was being done.
For me $500 usd is a ridiculous amount to bitch about. That's not the point - the point is to warn people from doing business with SHADY cheats. Normally, I would let it go. But IF my manager has to send payment reminders regularly, and IF payment is delayed 15-20 days, and IF someone is so RUDE to try to rip you off like this, then the community needs to know to avoid this asshole.
I don't try to make money off client's mistakes. I was open to negotiate even though he admitted he made a mistake on the deal and just wanted to change it (will post screenshot if needed)
This kind of lying and cheating needs to be called him out so no one gets fucked over like he tried to do to us. Stay safe!
