I have the exact same approach, but using other tools (made on AWS)
When the programs contact me, I call it "my CDN" and you may call it a caching solution as well. But no way in *HELL* I would just trust those cunts with any of my clients traffic.
If they make any problems, I just remove the promo and 301-redirect it to one of the competitors sites... that is why my company is called
XXX ROI - I make sure my clients traffic is safe, and some asshole of a program manager cant steal 100000 clicks for their own.
