And yeah, testing has increased dramatically all over the world so of course cases are going up. But, that doesn't mean cases are actually going up. It's just that we cans see them now whereas before we couldn't but the situation hasn't changed.
And the media is playing this out like we are going backwards, having a field day reporting all the case increases like the fire is spreading and getting out of control.

I love this argument. It's made by people who want to feel better about the crisis. "Of course we are getting more positives because we are testing more...."
OK yes. But HOSPITALIZATIONS ARE GOING UP! I would agree with the naysayers IF positive tests were going up but hospitalizations were remaining flat but they are not. They are going UP.
Which means? More people are getting sick! Sure the death rate is lower now because hospitals have figured out (somewhat) effective treatments that are preventing mass deaths. But who wants to be that sick, on a respirator, etc?
Wake up people PLEASE.
